How to migrate a WordPress website from one domain to another

In this article, I’m going to show you how to move a WordPress website from one domain to another. Example is to migrate the website from myoldwebsite.com to mynewsite.com

TLDR;

1. Move the website from the old hosting provider to the new one (if they are hosted by different providers).
2. Login to the database of the website and change the value of siteurl and home in the options table from your old domain to your new domain.
3. Visit the WordPress back-office at the new domain and install Better Search Replace (BSR) plugin.
4. Use BSR to search and replace all references of the old domain to the new one
